|Michael Miley has over 25 years experience in the computer industry, 20 years of that as a staff editor or freelance writer for sundry past and present publications including Macintosh Today, Macworld, Macuser, NeXtworld, PC World, PC Magazine and Oracle Magazine. He joined Trend Micro over five years ago in the SMB division, focused on the reseller community, but is now fearlessly ensconced in Consumer as the manager of the Technical Product Marketing team. Michael has wide-ranging interest, not just in computer technology, but in philosophy, parapsychology and literature. A writer of short stories, poems and essays, he’s currently focused on in-depth research into the ancient Maya. In the wee hours of the morning before work, he’s is writing a play that takes place in the last days of Chichén Itzá, just as the Spanish have begun their entradas into the heartlands of the Yucatan peninsula.
